A green pocket the city kept · Mexico City, Mexico

An oval Art Deco park at the heart of La Condesa, laid out in the 1920s on a former racetrack (its outline still traces the old oval). Big trees, curving paths and the Foro Lindbergh amphitheater give it a genuine green-reset feel amid the neighborhood's cafes. It is a magnet for dog-walkers, runners and families.
It is the leafiest, most atmospheric Art Deco park in the city, minutes from Condesa's cafes yet feeling like an escape.
