A monumental stairway of 135 steps built between 1723 and 1725, linking Piazza di Spagna with the Trinita dei Monti church above. The design sweeps and curves in a series of terraces, with the Barcaccia boat fountain by the Bernini family at its foot. It has long been a favourite meeting place and remains one of the city's most photographed spots.
To climb one of Europe's most famous staircases and look back over the rooftops of central Rome.
