A cafe worth sitting in · Tokyo, Japan
The Oslo coffee bar's first overseas outpost, open on a Tomigaya backstreet near Yoyogi Park since 2012. It pours light-roast Nordic filter coffee and espresso from 7am, sells Norwegian brown cheese and baked goods, and switches to a cocktail bar in the evening. The room doubles as a showroom of 1940s–70s Scandinavian furniture, all of which is for sale.
Light-roast coffee done properly plus a bar programme in the same small room, from the shop that started Tokyo's Nordic coffee wave.
