A private art museum opened in 2005 by the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation, housed in the restored 19th-century Hotel Bristol building in Tepebaşı. Its permanent holdings include Orientalist painting — most famously Osman Hamdi Bey's 'The Tortoise Trainer' — along with Kütahya tiles and a collection of Anatolian weights and measures. Upper floors carry rotating temporary exhibitions.
A quiet, well-lit historic mansion of a museum that rewards a slow, unhurried wander.
