The experience

Babylon is one of Istanbul's best-known live-music venues, opened in 1999 and now housed in the converted Bomonti historic beer factory in Şişli. The main hall holds around 500 people and stages jazz, funk, reggae, world, electronic and indie acts, with local bands on weeknights and bigger international names at weekends.

The city's flagship live-music room, with a strong sound system and a genre range from Balkan brass to electronica.
