The experience

A tiny, family-run trattoria on a quiet residential lane in Trastevere, open since the 1930s and run by the Di Felice family since the 1980s. The short menu is classic Roman: carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, oxtail stew and a strawberry tiramisu, cooked from carefully sourced ingredients and served on paper-covered tables in two cramped rooms.
