The experience
One of the larger bars in Shinjuku Golden Gai, spread over two floors plus a roof terrace, decorated with chandeliers, gilded mirrors and taxidermy. It serves house-infused spirits, hot sake and wine, and stays open into the early morning.
It is the Golden Gai bar that actually lets you in — the atmosphere of the alley without the members-only door policy next door.
