Mercado Melchor Ocampo, known as Mercado Medellin, is a neighborhood market on Campeche in Roma Sur. Beyond Mexican produce and butchers, it is one of the few markets stocking Colombian, Cuban and Venezuelan goods, and its aisles hide fondas and seafood stalls. Locals come for arepas, ceviche and Saturday carnitas.
A pan-Latin American market where the fondas and fish stalls are the real draw.
