Opened in 2001, MALBA holds Eduardo Costantini's collection of 20th-century Latin American art, with works by Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Antonio Berni and Xul Solar. The limestone, steel and glass building sits in Palermo and spreads exhibitions across three floors, plus a cinema, shop and rooftop cafe overlooking the sculpture terrace.
It is the city's essential window onto modern and contemporary Latin American art.
