The museum of the history of Paris, open since 1866 in a Renaissance mansion of 1548 joined to the Hôtel Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau. Some 140 rooms run chronologically from pre-Roman Gaul to the 20th century, with whole period interiors preserved inside the route.
