A stage worth staying up for · Hanoi, Vietnam
Founded in 1998 by the saxophonist Quyền Văn Minh, this is the club that carried jazz in Vietnam through the years when almost nobody else did. It sits tucked behind the Hanoi Opera House at 1 Tràng Tiền, a small low-lit room with a stage at one end. Local players and visiting musicians perform every night of the week; the doors open at 5pm and the club closes at 11pm.
Vietnam's oldest jazz club, still run by the saxophonist who opened it in 1998.
