Vake Park is a 200-hectare public park opened in 1946 at the western end of Chavchavadze Avenue, in Tbilisi's leafy Vake district. A grand fountain and stairway climb toward a WWII memorial, with wooded slopes, playgrounds and cafes above. Marked trails continue uphill from the park toward Turtle Lake, making it a favourite local green escape.
A local, tree-shaded park whose upper trails climb all the way to Turtle Lake.
