The experience
A long white-sand beach fronting a Francophone fishing village at the end of Santo's east coast road — milky-turquoise water, offshore islets across a low-tide sandbar, and beach cafes serving fresh lobster.
No resorts, no booking-platform properties — everything is run by village families, and most visitors stop 15 minutes short at cruise-serviced Champagne Beach.
