The experience

A wooded grove on the Beykoz hills of the Asian side, set above the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge with terraces looking out over the Bosphorus toward the European shore. Forest paths, a small pond and scenic overlooks make it a quiet walking spot, though it has few amenities. In spring the grove's pergolas are draped in flowering wisteria.
