The experience

A multi-storey Korean-style urban spa at 131-10 11th Avenue in College Point, across the water from Flushing, open daily 9am to 9:30pm. The ground floor holds gender-separated bath and locker lounges; above it are the co-ed floors with indoor and outdoor pools, jet pools, jacuzzis, a sauna valley of themed heat rooms, an ice room and a salt room, plus restaurants and bars. Admission includes one robe, one hand towel and a locker, and there is no limit on how long you stay.

A whole jimjilbang day — naked bade pools downstairs, robed sauna floors upstairs — in the least glamorous corner of Queens.
