A century-old national tree nursery in Coyoacán that doubles as a public park, producing over a million seedlings a year for reforesting the city. Soft unpaved paths and a clay jogging track run under dense trees, and squirrels are everywhere. It is a favorite of local runners and walkers, with police posted at the gates.
It is the runners' woodland of the south — a real working forest nursery, shaded and calm, a short walk from Frida Kahlo's Coyoacán.
