A night market that fills up late · New York, United States
An open-air Saturday night market behind the New York Hall of Science at 47-01 111th Street in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, reachable on the 7 train to 111th Street. More than a hundred independent vendors cook food from across the world under a hard price cap that keeps almost every dish at $5 to $6, which is the whole point: founder John Wang built it so a family could eat their way around fifteen countries for the price of one Manhattan dinner. In 2026 it runs 4pm to midnight on Saturdays, April 18 to August 22 and again September 19 to October 31.
A hundred cuisines, almost nothing over $6, on a Queens parkland lot every Saturday night.
It's only worth the detour April to October, Saturdays only. Turn up outside that window and you're looking at a different place; we'd rather say so than sell you the photo.
