The experience

The park and terrace on the Janiculum Hill above Trastevere, centered on Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi and its large equestrian monument to Garibaldi. Its broad belvedere gives one of the widest panoramas over Rome's historic center. A cannon is fired here at noon every day. The park is free and open at all hours.
