A museum worth the hours · Tokyo, Japan

Digital art museum by the collective teamLab, which left its original Odaiba site and reopened in 2024 in the basement of Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza B. There is no floor plan and no set route: projected works drift between rooms, spill onto other works and react to visitors who stand still or touch the walls. Most people spend two to three hours inside.
The one museum designed so you cannot navigate it — you find rooms by getting lost.
