The experience
A family-run spa at 11 Hàng Mành, the Old Quarter street that once made bamboo blinds, open daily from nine in the morning until half past eleven at night. It is an independent house rather than a chain, offering Vietnamese and Thai massage, hot stone, facials and foot work, with a sauna and steam room on site. Herbal tea, snacks and wifi come with the treatment rather than as extras. The late closing makes it the fallback when everything else in the quarter has shut.
The Old Quarter's own massage house, still open at eleven at night and still cheaper than the hotel spas either side of it.
