El Tibiri is a tiny, unmarked basement salsa bar off Avenida San Juan in Laureles-Estadio, famous for low ceilings, a handful of fans, cheap drinks and a wooden floor jammed with dancers. There is no sign on the facade, so it is easy to miss. The crowd skews local and serious about salsa, and it gets intensely hot and crowded on weekends.
