Parque de los Pies Descalzos, or Barefoot Park, is a Zen-inspired urban retreat beside the EPM building downtown. Visitors are invited to remove their shoes and walk across sand pits, bamboo groves and shallow water channels designed to reawaken the senses. Shaded seating, fountains and a nearby science museum make it a calm pause from the surrounding city.
