Founded in 1881, Museo de Antioquia is one of Colombia's oldest museums, set in a restored Art Deco building on Plaza Botero in central Medellin. Its collection spans colonial, republican and modern Colombian art, anchored by major holdings of Fernando Botero and muralist Pedro Nel Gomez. Rotating contemporary exhibitions and free guided tours round out the visit.
