The experience
A seafood izakaya a couple of minutes from Nogizaka Station exit 2, hung with fishermen's banners and lit like a market hall. It is known for nokke-zushi, rolls piled far past the point of structural sense with sea urchin and salmon roe, at prices well below what the Roppongi postcode suggests.
The uni-and-ikura overload dish that everyone photographs, at a third of what a sushi counter charges, ten minutes' walk from Roppongi's bars.
