A Chinese-style pavilion built in 1903, standing at about 380 metres inside Tijuca National Park in Alto da Boa Vista. The mirante gives sweeping panoramas over the Lagoa, Corcovado, Ipanema, Copacabana and Sugarloaf, all framed by rainforest. Reached by a forest road through the park, it is quieter and greener than the city's headline lookouts.
A forest-framed pavilion lookout with panoramic views over the lagoon, beaches and Corcovado.
