Two lone clusters of cypresses stand on a bare hill off the SS Cassia between San Quirico and Torrenieri, reached by a five-minute dirt-track walk from free roadside parking.
It's a photographers' pull-off on a farm road, not a ticketed sight — most tour buses roll straight past toward Pienza.
