A tiny, legendary bar on Rua Almirante Goncalves in Copacabana, open since 1968 and famed for its informal roda de samba and choro. Customers help themselves to beer from the fridge while the owner keeps a tab on paper. Musicians take up most of the small space, so much of the crowd stands or spills onto the sidewalk.
