The experience

A long-running family meyhane on Asmalımescit in Beyoğlu, run by Cavit himself. Regulars come for buttery fava with caramelized onions, muska böreği, yaprak ciğer (fried liver) and whatever seasonal fish is on the grill. It is small and fills mostly with locals.

One of Beyoğlu's most authentic old-school meyhanes, still run as a family room.
