The National Botanical Garden of Georgia spreads over 161 hectares in the Tsavkisis-Tskali gorge below Narikala fortress, on the southern slopes of the Sololaki ridge. Established in the 19th century on former royal grounds, it holds more than 4,500 plant taxa across shaded valley trails, a waterfall and historic bridges. A quiet green escape steps from the Old Town.
