A temple people come back to · Hanoi, Vietnam
The communal house of the silversmiths at 42–44 Hàng Bạc, built in the Late Lê dynasty around the middle of the 15th century and covering 575 m² through a ritual gate, courtyard, great hall and rear chamber. It was founded by craftsmen from Châu Khê village in Hải Dương, brought to the capital by the mandarin Lưu Xuân Tín under King Lê Thánh Tông to mint silver for the court — the reason Hàng Bạc means Silver Street. Two figures are worshipped: Hiên Viên, ancestor of all trades, and Lưu Xuân Tín himself. Listed as a national architectural monument in 2012, and free to enter.
A 15th-century silversmiths' guild hall in the middle of the Old Quarter, free, with live ca trù at night.
