The experience
A saltwater lagoon refreshed by ocean waves pushing through holes in the rock wall, so the crystal water never stagnates — down an unsignposted rutted track on Sumba's far coast.
Sumba gets a fraction of Bali's visitors, and the lagoon hides at the end of an unmarked dirt road.
