A farming village on Mount Rinjani's southern slopes — emerald rice terraces, waterfalls, a monkey forest with black langurs, and the rural Sasak life Lombok's coast has lost.
Inland and nowhere near the surf or Gili circuits, so tourism flows straight past it.
