The experience

A thatched, plant-heavy rooftop off Rue Fatima Zahra in the R'mila quarter of the old city, facing the Koutoubia minaret with the Atlas Mountains behind it on a clear day. Unusually for the medina it is fully licensed: signature and classic cocktails built on Moroccan artisan products, Moroccan draught beer, spirits and wine. Food is Mediterranean small plates, and the room shifts from sunset drinks to a DJ dinner and then live bands at the end of the week.
