A 19th-century hillside garden and viewpoint above Avenida da Liberdade, reached on foot or by the Ascensor do Lavra funicular. Its terraced levels have shaded benches under mature trees and a small bar, looking out over central Lisbon and the Baixa rooftops. It is far quieter than the city's headline miradouros.
