A 100 m ribbon of water free-falling into a shadowed slot canyon walled by 280 m of rock, reached only by boulder-hopping up a riverbed for hours. Almost no one makes it here, and those who do swim in a cathedral-quiet pool.
The punishing 9 km riverbed trek (4h+ each way, mandatory guide, no phone signal) filters out nearly everyone.
It's only worth the detour Apr–Oct. Turn up outside that window and you're looking at a different place; we'd rather say so than sell you the photo.
