A landmark that earns the queue · Tbilisi, Georgia

The leaning Gabriadze clock tower rises beside the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theatre on Shavteli Street in the Old Town. Built in 2010 by artist Rezo Gabriadze from salvaged tiles and bricks, its crooked, fairy-tale form is deliberately whimsical. Twice a day a mechanical angel strikes the bell, and a small puppet scene called The Circle of Life plays from a door near the top.
A storybook tower that is the most charming photo stop in the Old Town.
