The 1.4-square-kilometre park built for the 1988 Seoul Olympics, now split into culture, sport, eco and history zones. It contains the SOMA sculpture park, a rose garden, cosmos fields and the earthworks of the Baekje-era Mongchontoseong fortress. The single lone tree on its grassy 'One Tree Hill' is a well-known photo spot.
Wide open lawns and outdoor sculpture with room to actually spread out, rare for central Seoul.
