The founding cantina of Plaza Garibaldi, opened in 1923 by a Jalisco native and long the epicenter of mariachi in the capital. Mariachi, norteño and son jarocho groups circulate among the tables and play requests song by song, over tequila, mezcal and Mexican plates. The walls and ceiling are covered in murals of music legends like Pedro Infante and José Alfredo Jiménez.
