Parque Explora is Medellin's interactive science museum, recognisable by its bright red cantilevered buildings beside the Universidad metro station. Inside are nearly 300 hands-on exhibits across physics, biology and perception, plus a planetarium, a vivarium of Colombian reptiles and amphibians, and the largest freshwater aquarium in Latin America. Adjoining the Botanical Garden, it anchors the city's northern science district.
