The experience

At 106 hectares, El Volador is the largest natural park inside Medellin and one of its seven guardian hills. Grassy trails wind up past native trees and a pre-Hispanic Indigenous burial site to a broad summit with 360-degree views over the valley. Quieter than Nutibara, it draws birdwatchers, runners, and kite-flyers, especially at sunset.
