A small riverside park in the old city built around Phra Sumen Fort, one of the last surviving 18th-century bastions of Bangkok's original city wall, with an octagonal white fort and a wooden Thai pavilion. It fronts directly onto the Chao Phraya with an open view of the Rama VIII Bridge. The park opened in 2000 and is a short walk from Khao San Road and the Phra Athit riverside.
The best free riverside spot in the old town to watch the sun set behind the Rama VIII Bridge.
