A night market that fills up late · Seoul, South Korea
An open-air drinking alley by Euljiro 3-ga Station lined with a dozen or so old-school hof pubs pouring cheap draft beer with dried young pollack (nogari) and other simple snacks. Tables spill out onto the street and it fills with office workers after dark. The strip grew up around Eulji OB Bear, a pub that opened here in 1980.
The most authentic version of Seoul's after-work street-drinking culture: fresh beer, dried pollack and folding tables under the open sky.
