One of Istanbul's oldest public parks, laid out in 1912 on the former outer gardens of Topkapı Palace. Tree-lined promenades and tea gardens overlook the Bosphorus and Golden Horn, and the grounds hold the Column of the Goths and the Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam. In spring the flower beds fill with tulips and roses.
A green, history-soaked breather right beside Topkapı Palace in the heart of the old city.
