The experience

Gaudi radically remodelled this Passeig de Gracia townhouse between 1904 and 1906 into a shimmering fantasy of curved facades, bone-like balconies and a scaled roof evoking a dragon's back. Trencadis mosaic in blues and greens sheathes the exterior, while the central light-well graduates in tile colour to balance daylight. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
