The Holy Trinity Cathedral, known as Sameba, is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church and one of the tallest Orthodox churches in the world. Consecrated in 2004 on Elia Hill in Avlabari, its gold-domed silhouette dominates the skyline. The complex includes chapels, a bell tower and terraced gardens, and remains an active place of worship.
