A coffee bar on the ground floor of the High Line Hotel at 180 Tenth Avenue at West 20th Street, in what was the General Theological Seminary and its walled Chelsea close. Inside it is antique wood, aged leather seating and the quiet hum of people reading; outside is a courtyard garden of ivy and trees, invisible from the avenue. Single-origin pour-overs and espresso are the whole offer, and it runs 7am to 5pm every day.
