A neofuturist landmark designed by British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid and opened on 21 March 2014 in the Dongdaemun fashion district. Its seamless, curving aluminium-clad shell holds exhibition halls, design shops and event spaces, and the surrounding plaza is a freely walkable public landscape.
The most dramatic piece of contemporary architecture in Seoul, and one you can wander through and around for free.
