The experience

A free public observation room on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's No. 1 Building in Nishi-Shinjuku, 202 metres up. A dedicated lift runs from the ground floor to the deck in about 55 seconds, and no reservation is needed. Mount Fuji, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and Meiji Shrine are all visible in clear conditions, and there is a cafe and shop on the floor.
