The experience
The forested hill at the centre of Seoul, capped by N Seoul Tower and the Palgakjeong octagonal pavilion. Paths climb through native red pine and past a restored stretch of the 600-year-old Seoul City Wall to a summit plaza with panoramic views over the whole metropolis. Park entry and the summit plaza are free; the tower observatory charges separately.
