A table people book ahead for · New York, United States
One small room on the second floor of a building on 74th Street, reached by a staircase in the middle of Jackson Heights' Himalayan blocks. The kitchen cooks Tibetan food for a Tibetan clientele: beef momos flecked with celery, thenthuk hand-torn noodle soup, blood sausage, Lhasa fried noodles, and dried-beef salad drowned in chili oil. Almost nothing costs more than $10. Open daily until about 10:30pm.
The Tibetan room upstairs on 74th Street that Jackson Heights' own Himalayan community treats as a canteen.
